Job summary

Remitly is hiring a Senior Data Scientist & Product Analyst to shape customer experiences for High Value Sender segments. You will work at the intersection of marketing, product, engineering, and data science to identify opportunities, design experiments, and influence product roadmaps.

The role requires deep expertise in SQL, Python/R, and causal inference, with strong communication skills and a track record mentoring analysts. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, or related role.
• Strong expertise in SQL and large-scale datasets.
• Experience designing, executing, and analyzing experiments and A/B tests.
• Proven track record influencing product decisions through data-driven insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring analysts or data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Discover opportunities to improve Remitly products and customer experiences.
• Analyze customer journeys, funnels, and activation/retention metrics.
• Design experiments and translate results into prioritized product recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on instrumentation and data quality.
• Explain insights clearly to technical and business audiences and influence decisions.
