Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another STEM field with substantial experience in data science or analytics.
• PhD in STEM preferred with industry experience in insurance or analytics.
• Hands-on experience with statistical modeling and AI/ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Independently designs, develops, validates, and implements statistical and ML solutions for business problems.
• Owns analytical workstreams from problem definition to delivery and monitoring.
• Collaborates with data scientists, data engineers, and business partners to build scalable solutions.
• Develops reusable analytical workflows using modern data science and cloud tech.
• Manages priorities, timelines, and communicates progress and results to stakeholders.
• Participates in model and code reviews and mentors others.
