Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing, analyzing, or deploying data-driven solutions.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience with machine learning or AI enabled systems.
• Experience with data analysis, visualization, or decision support tools.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Data Scientist will provide data analytics for the afloat network system design, enhancing the Navy's networking capabilities with reliable and secure connectivity.
• The candidate will develop data models to evaluate and provide network engineering, cybersecurity support, and technical support services for existing and future network capabilities.
• Candidate will provide strategic networking guidance and facilitate the development of a common, flexible, standardized network architecture that is reliable, upgradable, reconfigurable, and maintainable.
• This position is located in San Diego, CA.
