Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required; Master’s preferred.
• 6 years data science experience.
• Proficient in Java, C++, Python, or R.
• Proficient in Agile development and Git operations.
• Experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
• TS/SCI clearance preferred; minimum SECRET clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques.
• Coordinate research and analytics across structured and unstructured data points; program to clean and organize data.
• Experiment and derive solutions to data challenges based on results.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data environments.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models, NLP, RPA, clustering, and forecasting.
• Design automated data manipulation and integrate data across sources.
• Use Spark/Hadoop for large-scale processing; visualize with Tableau/Power BI/R Shiny.
• Code in R and Python (NumPy/SciPy/Pandas) or similar.
• Work with cloud platforms like Databricks, IBM Cloud Pak, Cloudera, Snowflake.
• Communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
