Job summary

MediaAlpha is a data-driven customer acquisition company with a focus on insurance and other high‑consideration markets. This role involves owning data-science projects, building predictive models, and delivering actionable business insights.

You will write production-grade Python and SQL, maintain data pipelines, and collaborate across tech, analytics, and product teams to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or closely related field.
• Seven years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Three years of experience building and deploying AI models and AI tools in digital media.

Responsibilities

• Mine MediaAlpha exchange data to surface quantified revenue or margin-growth opportunities and document analyses.
• Prioritize opportunities using ROI calculations and present ranked backlogs to stakeholders.
• Provide weekly written status updates detailing progress, blockers, and next steps.
