Grey Matters Defense Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to tackle real-world Intel Community and DoD problems using a mix of FOSS/GOTS/COTS software and hardware. You will architect and prototype ML models, tune performance, and assist in end-to-end deployment in a Unix/Linux environment.

The ideal candidate has advanced Python and PyTorch experience, a track record with large in-house datasets, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with PyTorch.
• Experience training custom/in-house datasets with State-of-the-Art models.
• Experience developing software in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Architect, prototype, develop, test, and help deploy/maintain modem ML models and algorithms.
• Support deployments by tuning model performance through continual data acquisition.
• Support data selection, pre-processing, curation, and ETL of relevant data sets to support AI/ML solution development.
