We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join MANTECH’s dynamic team in Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying advanced data analytics and machine learning solutions tailored to national security needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, intelligence analysts, and customers to translate complex data into actionable insights. Your work will involve prototyping, testing, and transitioning data workflows and analytics into operational environments within a secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, computer science, data science, physics, or a related discipline. Alternatively, candidates with four additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of seven years of experience in roles such as Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar is required. Proficiency with standard data analysis tools, frameworks, or programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent is essential. Candidates should have a strong understanding of statistical modeling, data analysis, and graph-based approaches to handle complex datasets effectively.
