Team Velocity Marketing seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy production ML models that power marketing analytics and customer insights. You will develop predictive models for churn, CLV, and recommendations, and apply Generative AI techniques to real-world problems.

Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams is essential. The role emphasizes strong Python/SQL skills, cloud experience, and ability to translate business needs into scalable data science

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with production ML experience.
• Ability to deploy models and implement MLOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, and deploy production ML models.
• Develop predictive models for churn, propensity, lead scoring, CLV, recommendations, forecasting, personalization, and marketing attribution.
• Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, causal inference, and time-series analysis.
• Build feature engineering, model training, and inference pipelines.
• Deploy and monitor ML models, including drift detection and retraining.
• Apply Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases to business apps.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and leadership to translate problems into scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model development and code quality.
