Job summary

NOVACES seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions supporting Coast Guard SFLC operations in Baltimore, MD. The role will apply advanced analytics, data modeling, ETL, and dashboards to improve data quality, accessibility, and decision-making.

You will integrate data from multiple systems, build predictive models for asset readiness and forecasting, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, operations research, information systems, analytics, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years experience in data science, data engineering, analytics, modeling, or BI in federal, DHS, DoD, Coast Guard, logistics, readiness, or operations research environments.
• Relevant data science, analytics, cloud, Agile, or project-related certifications helpful. Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions to support SFLC operations and logistics integration.
• Support data integration and ETL activities; consolidate data from multiple systems; automate data workflows.
• Develop predictive and statistical models and dashboards to provide actionable insights to SFLC leadership.
