Job summary

SOUM is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end ML model development. You will design, optimize, and deploy models powering business decisions, collaborating with data engineers and product teams to ensure scalable, reliable solutions and measurable impact.

You will mentor junior data scientists, shape data strategy, and promote adoption of analytics across teams while staying current with AI/ML trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL with hands-on ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Strong knowledge of deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps practices.
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of advanced ML models for use cases like recommendations, fraud detection, and forecasting.
• Own end-to-end model deployment in production using Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Define MLOps best practices including monitoring, retraining, CI/CD for ML pipelines.
