Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Operations Research/Optimization Engineer to translate business constraints into scalable LP/MILP/MINLP models and to design end-to-end decision systems.

You will build large-scale models, tune solvers (Gurobi preferred), develop data pipelines, deploy models in production, and collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with real-world needs. Requirements include 3–6 years in OR/Optimization and strong Python/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in OR/IE/Applied Math or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–6 years’ experience in Operations Research/Optimization.
• Experience with large-scale mathematical models in production.

Responsibilities

• Formulate decision problems as mathematical optimization models (LP, MILP, MINLP).
• Design and implement large-scale optimization models with thousands to millions of variables/constraints.
• Leverage solvers such as Gurobi to build high-performance solutions.
• Develop end-to-end decision systems, integrating optimization outputs into production workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and constraints.
• Evaluate solution quality via scenario testing and sensitivity analysis.
