Job summary

Visionaire Partners seeks a Data Scientist with strong Operations Research and mathematical optimization modeling skills to join a 12-month contract in the Atlanta area with remote options.

You will design, test, and deploy models (LP/MIP, network optimization) using Python and optimization solvers such as CPLEX or Gurobi, and productionize data pipelines in cloud environments. Collaboration and experimentation are key in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• :**2-3 years** of professional Data Scientist experience.
• **Expertise** in Operations Research and Mathematical Optimization Modeling.
• Strong experience with Linear Programming (LP), Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP), and Network Optimization.
• Strong experience in Python.
• Experience deploying models and data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably on GCP or other clouds.
• Exposure to Git for version control and collaborative development.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
• Expertise in Operations Research and Mathematical Optimization Modeling.
• Strong experience with Linear Programming (LP), Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP), and Network Optimization
• Strong experience in Python
• Expertise in optimization libraries and solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, OR-Tools, or similar tools. (Gurobi used in the current environment)
• Proven track record of deploying models and data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably on GCP or other cloud platforms
• Exposure to using Git for version control and collaborative development
• Master's degree (Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics)
• PhD in Quantitative Field (if not, then 4 years of professional work experience)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Demand forecasting experience (Time Series, ARIMA, etc.)
• Strong experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio etc.)
