Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Scientist in the Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area (ASBA) based in McLean, VA. The role focuses on building ML models, NLP, and data-driven solutions for security-critical challenges.

You will work on SQL/ API data extraction, web scraping, and automations, with exposure to AWS and version control. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, with substantial relevant experience and Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or MS with 6–10 years.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction and modeling.
• Experience with NLP and SNA.
• Strong statistics, predictive modeling, and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Build statistical and machine learning models, including NLP tasks.
• Construct and execute complex database queries across databases and APIs.
• Perform web scraping and process unstructured data.
• Leverage automation and ML to manage data and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Learn and use AWS and Git in workflows.
