Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Scientist in the Cyber & Analytics Business Unit, Intel Sector, to support USCYBERCOM from Fort Meade, MD. The role emphasizes AI, Cloud, and Automation with TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph, contributing to mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities span designing AI agents and LLM-enabled workflows, building AI-powered platforms for cyber operations, deploying secure cloud AI/ML on GovCloud, and delivering real-time insights to synchronize planning and execution.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cyber engineering, data science, or software development with cyber operations focus.
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java; experience with LLMOps, RAG patterns, and vector databases.
• Deep understanding of OCO/DCO TTPs and the USCYBERCOM mission roadmap.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II/III certification (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, CEH).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Integrated Mission Automation: Design AI agents and LLM-enabled workflows to automate the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP).
• Full-Spectrum Tool Development: Build AI-powered platforms for both computer network attack and defense with multi-source security telemetry.
• Secure Cloud Ops: Deploy and scale AI/ML models in secure AWS/Azure GovCloud environments using Kubernetes and Terraform for agility.
• Operational Intelligence Integration: Synchronize AI-driven intelligence planning with operational timelines for real-time insights.
• Tactical AI/ML Engineering: Develop production-ready software from vision to deployment that automates remediation and resiliency.
