Job summary

Amentum in the National Capital Region (DIA support) seeks an experienced Data Scientist to transform massive data into actionable intelligence. You will design models, pipelines, and visualization tools that support analysts with predictive analytics and automated scoring, across multi-INT sources.

Required are an active TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years of relevant analytics work, and a degree in data science, CS, or statistics.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 8+ years of relevant data science or advanced analytics experience with recent work in last 2 years
• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or related field
• Proficiency with R, Python, and SQL for merging data from multiple sources
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau for visualization

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis on intelligence data sets
• Build ML-based tools and processes, such as recommendation engines and automated lead scoring systems
• Correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products for informed analytic decisions
• Retrieve and merge information from disparate sources using Python, R, and SQL
• Build high-quality prediction systems and apply data mining algorithms to large multi-INT data
• Deliver visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, and other graphical applications
