Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is hiring a Data Scientist to tackle NLP, ML, and data extraction on high-volume legal and business data. You will build scalable models and pipelines, evaluate algorithms, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver practical data solutions.

You'll mentor junior teammates, contribute to best practices, and help shape responsible AI initiatives while leveraging AWS and modern ML frameworks in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Strong ML knowledge across classification, clustering, regression and recommender systems.
• Hands-on Python with scikit-learn, pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with NLP tools and methods and large-language-model workflows.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Experience deploying cloud ML services (AWS).
• 5+ years of coding experience in Python/Java/Scala and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop NLP and ML models for data extraction, structuring, and analysis.
• Build scalable pipelines and evaluate state-of-the-art algorithms.
