Job summary

Medbridge, a remote-first SaaS company serving healthcare providers, seeks a Staff Data Scientist to own predictive models end‑to‑end. You will frame problems with product and clinical partners, choose methods, build and validate models, and ship to production in Snowflake with monitoring and retraining.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with disciplined software engineering practices (testing, version control, reproducible pipelines).
• Experience deploying models to production and monitoring retraining.
• Experience with messy real-world healthcare data and evaluation design.
• Ability to translate business goals into shipped model features with product/engineering partners.
• Clear communication with clinical, product, and leadership audiences about uncertainty and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, validation, and production operation of predictive/risk-adjustment models from framing to deployment.
• Set methodological standards and document decisions for stakeholders.
• Write production-quality code with reproducible pipelines and Snowflake deployment.
• Estimate impact of Medbridge products on patient outcomes using experimental/observational methods.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, and customer teams to ship models and establish evaluation practices.
