Job summary

Calm, a leading consumer mental health company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to leverage our consumer data to prioritize product and growth investments, improve acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and subscriber growth.

In this role you will partner with product and growth marketing to turn ambiguous business questions into clear analyses, experiments, and actionable recommendations, using data to drive better decisions.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SQL.
Experience designing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments.
Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical solutions, and translate technical solutions into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders across product and growth marketing to analyze and communicate how trends in key metrics affect business performance.
Partner with product teams to perform deep-dive analysis to understand user engagement behavior.
Design, implement and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new features on core product metrics.
Collaborate with partners across technical and non-technical teams to bridge the gap between data and action.
Help key-decision makers stay informed about the state of the business through internal data products built in tools like Amplitude, Tableau and Mode.
Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across Calm to drive our team's success.
