Job summary

Terzo seeks a Data Scientist on the Applied Research team to build intelligent systems for enterprise data. You will design extraction, classification, and graph-based representations to serve recommendations, agents, and search across the Terzo platform.

You will own models, pipelines, and knowledge-graph structures, collaborating with engineering, product, and customers on high‑stakes problems where accuracy drives contractual SLA and millions in exposure. Senior IC role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or AI research with production‑shipped systems.
• Statistical foundations and evaluation metrics for AI systems (precision, recall, coverage, latency).
• Deep experience building NLP/NLU or document understanding models at scale.
• Strong intuition for entity resolution or knowledge graph construction.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python and deploying models into production pipelines.
• Clear, structured communication with engineering, product, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design extraction and classification models that process enterprise-scale document corpora.
• Build and evolve entity resolution and signal detection layers powering Commercial and Financial Graphs.
• Define how AI capabilities surface as recommendations, agents, and search across the platform.
• Own the models, pipelines, and graph structures with SLA in collaboration with teams.
