Job summary

Empower LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and execute complex analytics initiatives focused on customer intelligence, predictive modeling, and value science.

You will own data science work across framing business questions through model deployment and measurement, partnering with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional data science, analytics, and ML experience.
• End-to-end data science lifecycle including problem definition, model development, deployment, experimentation, and implementation.
• Direct experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production.
• Experience with generative AI, ML, and advanced analytics.
• Strong experience with Python, R, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical insights into business value.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced analytical and ML solutions for complex business problems (customer behavior, churn, value modeling).
• Define questions, target variables, populations, and analytical approaches.
• Lead data-driven projects from analysis to production deployment and measurement.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines and ML models.
• Support expansion into next-best-action frameworks including reinforcement learning and neural networks.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party and open-source tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and stakeholders to build scalable solutions.
• Translate customer intelligence models into actionable business applications.
