Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end data problems across Creator Reputation, publish gating, anti-abuse, and AI-enabled analytics. You will define problem framing, build data foundations, and deliver executive-ready recommendations that influence platform integrity and creator success.

Qualifications

• BS, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven ability to build, evaluate, and maintain ML models for trust, safety, or reputation systems.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with data pipelines and production systems.
• Experience owning cross-functional data problems end-to-end from framing to executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own Creator Reputation & Publish Gating models and Good Standing score, including DevEx auto-approval improvements.
• Lead anti-abuse modeling for creator rewards and analytics, ensuring integrity of incentive systems.
• Define analytical standards and measurement approaches for new product areas, translating complex systems into interpretable metrics for leadership.
• Drive AI-enabled analytics workflows and scalable DS processes to reduce analyst toil.
