Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Data Scientist to advance analytics across Global Customer Capabilities & Innovation. You'll partner with commercial insights, analytics, brand teams, and IS partners to develop ML/AI solutions addressing complex business problems across therapeutic areas and commercial functions.

You will independently lead workstreams, translate analyses into actionable recommendations, mentor teammates, and ensure regulatory and data governance compliance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent experience in Data Science or related quantitative field.
• Advanced analytics or data science exposure with large healthcare datasets preferred.
• Strong programming in Python, SQL, and PySpark; experience with AI/ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects and deliver measurable business value.
• Develop, evaluate, and productionize ML/AI models.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
