Job summary

TransUnion seeks a Data Scientist to support analytic solutions for clients across credit, fraud, insurance, and marketing domains. The role requires strong quantitative skills and experience with R/Python, SQL, Hive, and Spark.

This hybrid position includes in-person work at a TransUnion office at least two days a week, and mentorship from the Director of Science and Analytics. You will lead end-to-end analytic projects, design and test data extraction and analysis programs, and deliver concise

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, computer science, engineering, OR a quantitative field; or a Bachelor’s with 4+ years experience.
• Experience in client-facing roles and analytic work for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models and BI solutions of moderate scope for clients.
• Lead analytic engagements using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis.
• Own projects from design to implementation and client presentation.
• Present insights and recommendations to internal and external customers.
