Amgen is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Process Modeling in the U.S. You will join the Digital Process and Systems Analysis group, advancing biologics drug-substance modeling and digitizing tech-transfer workflows.

You will lead data pipelines, modeling, and visualization efforts to support drug substance development, tech transfer, and manufacturing across Amgen sites. The role emphasizes collaboration with scientists and engineers, open-ended problem solving, and ongoing performance

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent data science/engineering education.
• Master's degree plus 2 years of data science/engineering experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of data science/engineering experience.
• Associate's degree plus 8 years of data science/engineering experience.
• High school diploma or GED plus 10 years of data science or engineering experience.

Responsabilités

• Drive implementation of digital technologies using tech-transfer and process-modeling knowledge.
• Own digital applications for tech-transfer, expanding digital process-modeling for the DS network.
• Make change management to integrate digital applications into product teams.
• Develop data products to enable FAIR data for tech transfer/NPI.
• Enable AI workflows for DST modeling assets.
• Collaborate with digital product teams to integrate modeling assets into business processes.
• Interact cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Present cost-benefit analyses, forecasts and scenario analyses to stakeholders.
• Contribute to establishing a robust data science strategy across processes.
