Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models and statistical algorithms for analyzing genomic, proteomic, and transcriptomic data.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science or bioinformatics.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in handling and analyzing large biological datasets, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and biological pathways.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for teamwork in Welkom.
