Deutsche Bank is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in New York, AVP-level, to join a global Data Science team focused on AI-driven transaction monitoring and Wealth Management analytics. You will translate business needs into practical ML/AI solutions, lead end-to-end development, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, ML expertise, and production deployment experience, with a hybrid work model and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, CS, Stats, Math, or related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on Data Science/ML with Python and SQL, working with large datasets
• Strong product thinking and stakeholder management to translate needs into technical solutions
• Solid foundation in ML, statistics, and analytical problem solving; communicate results to nontechnical stakeholders
• Experience deploying ML solutions in production/enterprise environments and familiar with SDLC practices
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while ensuring responsible data/AI use

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key Data Science partner to U.S. product users and business stakeholders
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and ML/AI solutions
• Lead end-to-end implementation of ML/AI use cases from requirements to go-live
• Develop, improve, and support ML solutions for AI-driven transaction monitoring and Wealth Management analytics
• Analyze complex business data to identify trends and generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with a global Data Science team and cross-functional partners to deliver solutions
