Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist in Ranking AI within the Monetization group to advance and deploy state-of-the-art Recommendation Systems for Ads. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Eng or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 6 years analytics experience (4 years with PhD)
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to develop strategies for our products used by billions
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics
• Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product and drive roadmaps through insights and recommendations
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions
