Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist within Ranking AI in the Ads stack to solve complex analytics problems at scale. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data teams to guide data-driven decisions and translate insights into product strategy.

The role emphasizes modeling, experimentation, and responsible AI practices. You will work on high-impact projects affecting billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses, driving revenue growth while maintaining ethical AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years analytics experience (4 years with a PhD).
• Experience with data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), or statistical software (R).
• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve diverse problems using analytical and statistical methods.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to inform product strategies.
• Define and measure success of product efforts via goals, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
• Identify opportunities and levers to improve the product and drive roadmaps through insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy.
