Datalign Advisory Inc. in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Machine Learning Scientist to lead AI initiatives and shape product decisions through advanced analytics in our three‑sided marketplace.

You will deploy production ML models, collaborate with product and engineering teams, translate complex data into actionable business insights, and influence strategic directions across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field with 6+ years of industry experience or PhD with 3+ years
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms, experiment design, statistical modeling and evaluation; strong background in product analytics, classifiers, recommendation systems, and personalization algorithms; experience putting ML solutions in production with modern ML platforms and familiarity with A/B testing

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover relationships, patterns and key features for business decision making and model development
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for production using robust CI/CD practices with software engineers
• Identify success metrics and build evaluation frameworks for model and product performance
• Innovate with generative AI and graph-based ML to improve processes and develop new products
• Contribute to architectural and code reviews to maintain health of the technical stack
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business teams to test high-impact solutions
• Influence strategic decisions by communicating complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
