Datalign Advisory Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead product-focused AI initiatives and enable strategic decisions through advanced analytics. The role is hybrid in the Greater Boston area, with four in-office days weekly.

Ideal candidates hold an MS/PhD in a quantitative field, have 6+ years (MS) or 3+ years (PhD) of experience, and excel in Python, SQL, ML platforms, and production ML deployments. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, statistics, mathematics, or related quantitative field
• MS with 6+ years of industry experience or PhD with 3+ years
• Entrepreneurial mindset with quick experimentation and implementation
• Expert-level Python, SQL, and distributed computing proficiency
• Deep understanding of ML algorithms, experiment design and evaluation
• Strong background in product analytics, classifiers, recommendations and personalization
• Experience deploying ML solutions in production with cloud ML platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Familiarity with A/B testing and product metrics

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover relationships and features for decision making and model development
• Develop and deploy production ML models with CI/CD in collaboration with software engineers
• Define success metrics and evaluation frameworks for model and product performance
• Innovate with generative AI and graph-based ML to improve processes and build new products
• Contribute to architectural and code reviews to maintain tech stack health
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to test high-impact solutions
• Communicate complex data clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
