Biogen seeks a Senior Data Science Manager to lead Predictive Analytics & AI for US Commercial. The role develops and optimizes ML/AI solutions across models and analytic offerings that inform decision making for patients and providers.

Hybrid work requires on-site presence in Cambridge, MA three days per week, reporting to the Director of Predictive Sciences. You will manage external vendors, drive data-driven strategies, and partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Insights teams to

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, CS, statistics, or a related quantitative field with 3+ years in pharma/biotech US Commercial.
• Proven Python/SQL programming and experience with ML/AI methods for commercial analytics.
• Familiarity with commercial data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva, EHR/claims).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate ML and predictive analytics solutions for US Commercial.
• Collaborate with Insights & Analytics, IDM, IT, and Medical Affairs to translate insights into strategies.
• Lead governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models and analytics platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive patient and provider analytics and commercial opportunities.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to leadership and peers.
