Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive business impact in Consumer Insights and Analytics. You’ll partner with Marketing and Sales, building ML models, optimizing performance, and integrating cutting‑edge technologies to enhance decision making and automation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data science, strong Python/R skills, and experience with Databricks, Azure ML, and big data tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or Applied Scientist, specializing in computer vision, NLP, or data synthesis.
• Experience developing and deploying advanced analytical models and algorithms.
• Experience applying machine learning techniques including Regression, Clustering, Probability Networks, AI, and Deep Learning.
• Hands‑on programming experience in Python and R for ML challenges.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure ML and AMC, BigQuery.
• Transforming raw data into meaningful features; handling missing data, encoding, and dimensionality reduction.
• Experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests and causal inference techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data science solutions to drive data‑driven decision‑making and optimize business performance.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, build ML models, and solve critical business problems.
• Design deep learning and NLP models to analyze complex data across processes.
• Monitor deployed models and continuously refine them to maintain accuracy.
• Research, test, and evaluate AI technologies for business objectives.
• Integrate data innovations into products to enhance analytics and automation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on omnichannel analytics projects.
• Build, maintain, and improve analytics tools to accelerate value.
