Job summary

Surescripts seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives across business functions, partnering with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights. You will design and optimize analytics, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate planning, design, and implementation, while ensuring governance and security compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data science, healthcare analytics, and ML; proficiency in Python/R, SQL, TensorFlow

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of data science, data management, or analytics in a business context.
• 5 years with large healthcare transactional datasets and reporting.
• Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and data visualization.
• Experience with AI-assisted planning, MLops, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Explore and preprocess data from diverse sources; enrich with external datasets.
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to build predictive models and analytics.
• Design, build, and validate models; ensure provenance and traceability.
• Create visualizations to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leaders, PMs, engineers to translate requirements into analytics.
• Lead AI-assisted design, implementation and evaluation; document artifacts.
