BNY Mellon is seeking a Data Scientist to join the IT Asset Management team. This role is based in the United States with a hybrid work model, requiring presence in offices and collaboration across Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL.

The position emphasizes automation, AI, and data‑driven insights to optimize assets and risk management. You will model scenarios, build insightful dashboards, and translate complex requests into actionable analyses for stakeholders, while working with

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role.
• Hands‑on experience utilizing AI tools and applying AI techniques.
• Ability to translate a plain English ask into a data‑rich response.
• Comfort presenting information to small groups and summarizing material for a wide audience.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities across Evergreen, including stakeholder agents, anomaly detection, data quality improvements, and predictive insights on assets nearing end‑of‑life dates.
• Support data modeling and reporting needs for regulatory, audit, and ad hoc queries.
• Define requirements and collaborate with development teams to build dashboards and reports.
• Lead sessions with Platform/Line of Business Resiliency teams to review Evergreen positions and recommend actions within risk tolerances.
