Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Data Scientist to join the IT Asset Management team in Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL. You will identify automation opportunities across Evergreen assets, build stakeholder agents, and deliver predictive insights on end-of-life dates.

You will support data modeling and regulatory reporting, define dashboard requirements, and lead resiliency reviews to stay within risk tolerances. The role requires 2+ years in data science, experience with AI tools, and a CS degree or

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience; 4-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in securities or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities across Evergreen assets, including building stakeholder agents and predictive insights on end-of-life dates.
• Support data modeling and reporting to meet regulatory, audit and ad hoc needs.
• Define requirements and collaborate with development teams to build dashboards and reports.
• Lead sessions with resiliency teams to review Evergreen positions and recommend actions to stay within risk tolerances.
