Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist to design and deliver advanced AI/ML solutions across mission domains. You will help build Agentic AI, RAG capabilities, and customized ML models for high-security environments. Experience with LLMs and edge computing is required.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Master’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s with 11+ years, or Associate’s with 13+ years in a related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing advanced AI/ML solutions.
• Deep knowledge of AI technologies and ML model lifecycle.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and RAG.
• Proven Python proficiency and ability to optimize models for constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced AI/ML and data science solutions.
• Develop Agentic AI systems and customized RAG capabilities.
• Assess, evaluate, and implement ML models for mission needs.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy ML and LLMs.
• Tailor AI/ML for operational performance and resource constraints.
• Develop models for low-memory and edge-device environments.
• Evaluate model performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.
