Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist to design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions across mission domains. You will support the MPO environment and develop Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and customized ML solutions.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph, and a Master’s degree with 9+ years (or equivalent) of relevant experience. You will work on edge-optimized models and collaborate with mission stakeholders to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s with 11 years, or Associate’s with 13 years in-depth relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated AI/ML solutions.
• Deep knowledge and experience with AI technologies.
• Experience assessing, evaluating, training, and optimizing ML models.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Agentic AI systems and RAG capabilities.
• Experience optimizing models for constrained or edge-computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced AI/ML and data science solutions
• Develop Agentic AI systems and customized RAG capabilities
• Assess, evaluate, and implement appropriate ML models for specific mission needs
• Train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy machine learning and large language models
• Tailor AI/ML solutions for operational performance and resource constraints
• Develop models suitable for low-memory and low-resource edge-device environments
• Evaluate model performance and recommend improvements
• Work with mission stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions
