Job summary

Momentum Engineering Fort Meade, MD seeks a Data Scientist 4 to design and implement advanced AI/ML solutions across mission domains. You will develop Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and customized ML capabilities for the MPO customer environment.

The role requires NSA Full Scope Polygraph clearance and expert Python skills, with experience in edge‑computing environments and model optimization for constrained resources.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s with 11 years, or Associate’s with 13 years related experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated AI/ML solutions.

Job Summary

• Seeking a Data Scientist with demonstrated experience designing and implementing advanced AI/ML and data science solutions across mission domains
• The successful candidate will support the MPO customer environment and develop sophisticated Agentic AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and customized machine learning solutions

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated AI/ML solutions
• Deep knowledge and experience with AI technologies
• Experience assessing, evaluating, training, and optimizing ML models
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with Agentic AI systems
• Experience implementing RAG capabilities
• Experience optimizing models for constrained or edge‑computing environments
• Expert Python proficiency

Salary Information

The pay range for this role is: 170,000 - 220,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)

Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
