Job summary

Walmart Connect is hiring a Distinguished Data Scientist to lead the design and development of the next-generation ads incrementality measurement platform. You will own the methodology end-to-end, partner with engineering and product to production, and serve as the team's authority on the hardest measurement problems.

The team applies causal inference and incrementality experimentation to deliver actionable insights, while you define the science roadmap and mentor others.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in statistics, econometrics, CS or related quantitative field.
• 8+ years in data science or analytics; ads industry experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in causal inference and incrementality methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale causal inference methods for ads lift.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, criteria, and production-ready solutions.
• Author technical design docs and present to leadership.
• Define science roadmap for incrementality and causal measurement.
• Develop uplift models to power ads bidding optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers on data pipelines and schema.
• Mentor senior/mid-level scientists; shape technical strategy.
