Disney Entertainment is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our AI/ML research team. You will lead ML initiatives that shape ad decisioning, forecasting, experimentation, and user experience optimization, partnering with product managers and engineers across Disney’s advertising tech stack.

The role requires 5+ years in data science at leading tech firms, strong SQL/Python/R skills, and experience building ML datasets and labeling processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of data science at leading internet/tech companies; ad domain a plus.
• Experience creating ML datasets and labeling/evaluation processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and apply data science to ad serving, forecasting, pacing, pricing and targeting.
• Translate business questions into data science frameworks with fast turnaround.
• Define and evaluate key metrics across product areas.
• Partner with generative AI experts to build datasets for AI modeling.
• Develop SOPs for human-driven evaluations and labeling.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Design and analyze A/B tests for ML algorithm iterations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and program managers.
