- Role Description:
- Retail / CPG domain experience is a must have. Quick commerce (optional)
- Prior experience in using datasets such as - Geo data, share of wallet data, demographic data, geospatial analytics
- Candidate who has very specifically worked on projects where new stores / outlets were opened using below skill sets.
- Functional Knowledge Required:
- Category / Product Analytics (Must have): Product Assortment Analysis, identifying trends and patterns in category performance, new product launches
- Geo-Spatial Analytics (Must have): GIS tools (ArcGIS or QGIS), Location-based analysis (spatial matching, trade area analysis), Spatial data visualization
- Customer Analytics (Good to have): Using Loyalty and Customer data for direct marketing campaigns and campaign measurement
- Sales Data Analysis (Must have): Analysing sales trends, forecasting performance and identifying key sales drivers
- Should have strong story telling skills: Ability to explain complex data to non-technical / business teams
- Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Data Analysis, Statistics, Machine Learning, Model Evaluation Techniques and Model Interpretation.
- Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Azure Databricks, SQL, etc.
- Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, deep learning, reinforcement learning, evaluation metrics, feature engineering, model selection and validation, ensemble methods, and explainable AI
- Power BI, Spotfire or other visualization tools (optional)
Years of experience: 5 to 7 years relevant experience in Analytics
