As part of the analytics team, you will work on real customer issues and analyze data generated in real time. You will analyze large datasets, see your insights leveraged by customers, and create value. You will learn to use various data tools and manipulate our machine learning platform to build and improve models, gaining practical experience in operational modeling. Responsibilities

1. Develop advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance our proprietary modeling platform and deliver greater value to customers.
2. Refine and adapt our machine learning models to fit various customer scenarios and company visions.
3. Identify and validate new data sources, such as US Census data, to expand our core data assets.
4. Clean and prepare customer data using tools like PySpark, R, Python, or Excel for analysis and modeling.
5. Perform descriptive and statistical analyses to uncover patterns that inform customer decisions, ensuring insights meet their needs creatively.
6. Prepare presentations and materials to demonstrate insights and educate customers on our methods.
7. Present findings and models to customers as a technical expert and industry representative.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
2. Experience working with large datasets and developing models to solve customer problems; insurance data modeling experience is a plus.
3. Deep understanding of statistical modeling, including parameter tuning and validation.
4. Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with PySpark and Excel.
5. Strong analytical thinking, independence, and scenario analysis skills.
6. Creative, open-minded, and positive attitude towards challenges.
7. Ability to conduct independent research and pursue meaningful progress.
8. Attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
9. Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
