Job description

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 4+ years of experience in product or growth data science to join our Growth Data Science team. This role will focus on our Targeted Enrollment program (using data-driven marketing to identify and convert prospects at the highest risk of musculoskeletal conditions) and our Partnerships & Integrations efforts (establishing new growth partnerships to drive member enrollment). You will lead efforts in data modeling, funnel optimization, experimentation, and analytics to inform strategic decisions and accelerate member growth.

What You'll Accomplish

Targeted Enrollment

  • Develop robust data models and source-of-truth dashboards to monitor and optimize the performance of Targeted Enrollment marketing campaigns.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate and improve marketing strategies across channels and throughout the enrollment funnel.
  • Build statistical models and user segmentations to help marketers connect with the right audiences using personalized, timely messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product stakeholders to shape the long-term strategy for targeted member enrollment.

Partner Integrations

  • Create reporting frameworks for new partner integrations, including tracking inbound and outbound referrals (such as provider-driven member referrals).
  • Analyze the impact of outbound referrals on member engagement and identify opportunities to optimize referral pathways.
  • Develop and maintain data models to track partnership performance, referral efficiency, funnel metrics, and associated revenue impact.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize the enrollment funnel and improve key metrics such as registration, onboarding, and billable conversion rates.

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or a related technical field

  • 4+ years experience working with large datasets to solve business and technology problems

  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) and data pipeline optimization for scalable analytics

  • Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and predictive modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling and recommendation systems

  • Prior experience in partner analytics, referral tracking, or marketplace data science

  • Background in healthcare, fintech, or member engagement analytics

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $152,000-$228,000.
