In the analytics team, you will work with real customer data in real time, analyzing large datasets to create value. You will learn to use various data tools and manipulate our machine learning platform to develop insightful models. This role offers close collaboration across the business and a chance to enhance our analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced machine learning algorithms to extract value from data and benefit customers.
  • Refine proprietary algorithms to suit diverse customer scenarios and company goals.
  • Expand core data assets by integrating new data sources and validating their usefulness.
  • Clean and prepare data using tools like PySpark, R, Python, or Excel.
  • Perform descriptive and statistical analyses to identify patterns and inform business decisions.
  • Prepare presentations and materials to demonstrate insights and educate clients.
  • Present findings and models to customers as a technical expert and company representative.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with large datasets and building models for customer solutions; insurance data experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and parameter tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with PySpark and Excel.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to work independently.
  • Creative, open-minded, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and pursue progress diligently.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of ownership.
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary Range: $154,000 - $174,000
