Senior Data Scientist – Supply Chain Optimization

We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to work on complex, real‑world supply chain problems using optimization, mathematical modeling, and advanced analytics. This role sits at the intersection of data science, operations research, and software engineering, focusing on building decision‑making models that directly power a modern supply chain planning platform.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and improve optimization and simulation models across inventory, demand, production, and network planning
• Apply operations research and advanced analytics to large, complex datasets
• Partner with engineers to deploy models into production within a SaaS environment
• Improve model accuracy using statistical and machine‑learning techniques
• Support customer‑facing teams by troubleshooting and refining optimisation logic
• Document models, assumptions, and technical approaches clearly

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience in data science, operations research, or applied analytics
• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• Strong experience with Python and optimisation techniques (LP, MIP, stochastic models)
• Experience with solvers such as Gurobi or CPLEX
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
