Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Science for US Card Resiliency Intelligence. You will lead and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable data-driven solutions that improve customer financial resiliency.

You will build and deploy machine learning models across the lifecycle using open-source tools and cloud platforms, translating complex analyses into business outcomes while mentoring a growing team of data science

Qualifications

2+ years using open source languages for large-scale data analysis
2+ years of experience with machine learning
2+ years of experience using relational databases

Responsibilities

Partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love
Leverage a broad stack of technologies — Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more — to reveal insights from huge data
Build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, validation, and implementation
Translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals
