Rockwell Collins Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Specialist, Data Science & Analytics in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role requires three days onsite and up to two days remote within the US.

The position focuses on planning, implementing and optimizing IT structures and digital applications to support business goals. Responsibilities include guiding IT planning and system improvements, aligning technology with business strategies, and collaborating with Security, Infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related field with 5+ years as a Business Analyst or related role, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP ECC.
• At least 3 years of information systems experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with security for master data objects.
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL.
• At least 2 years of experience with Winshuttle.
• Non-US Person - authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for planning, purchasing, processing and ultimate use of IT structures/systems/processes within the Company.
• Responsible for one or more IT structures, systems / processes such as networking, e-mail, intranet, CRM, ERP or business process automation.
• Select, implement, develop, maintain and support business systems and digital applications through understanding business processes and applying process improvement concepts.
• Responsible for alignment of business systems technology selection, programming, configuring and testing of both new applications and legacy systems.
• Align digital services, service levels, technology, vendor/supplier management, and initiatives with business strategies.
• Represent the business in enterprise/corporate initiatives and act as a business contact for delivery of high-quality digital services.
• Work with Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management Groups to manage and document the digital technology portfolio.
