Job summary

PTR Global seeks a Senior Data Science Analyst to design, build, and optimize enterprise data pipelines in Richmond, VA. You will lead end-to-end data engineering efforts, drive data governance, and partner with Architecture and Platform teams to raise data quality and performance.

Requires 5–7+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, ETL/ELT expertise, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend or dbt.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with data virtualization tools (e.g., Denodo, Composite, Dremio, Starburst).
• Knowledge of DataOps practices, CI/CD, and observability.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics pipelines.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience influencing enterprise data standards or reference architecture.
• Expertise in optimizing cost and performance in cloud data warehouses.
• Hands‑on experience with Cribl, Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Spark Streaming, or Apache Flink.

Pay Range

$56- $61/hr. W2
