Job summary

DomainTools is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Denver. You will design and maintain web-scale data systems, mentor teammates, and accelerate engineering productivity across the organization.

You should have deep experience in Python, GoLang, and Rust, plus AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. 5+ years in development and 3+ years in cloud infra and data engineering are expected. A focus on security and collaboration is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience with Python, GoLang, or Rust.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• 3+ years of web-scale data engineering using data stores like OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Spark.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• High initiative and productivity with a continuous-learning mindset.
• Passion for security space.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and maintain web-scale data systems.
• Analyze and validate new data sets to add value for customers.
