Job summary

Turing is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to own end-to-end the creation of datasets, RL environments, and evals for frontier AI labs. You will lead cross-functional teams and interface directly with researchers and engineers at partner labs to understand needs and deliver data offerings that meet high standards of realism, correctness, and diversity.

This hands-on leadership role emphasizes building data pipelines, automations, and internal tools, and you will report to the Labs/Engineering

Qualifications

• Post-training experience on SWE tasks or building coding agents.
• Engineering management experience with team leadership and QA processes.
• Operational leadership with data pipelines and multi-stakeholder delivery.
• Strong cross-functional communication with frontier labs and researchers.
• Background in CS, ML, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end creation of datasets, RL environments, and evals for frontier AI labs.
• Interface directly with researchers/engineers at labs to understand needs and define success criteria.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, QAs, and data creators.
• Develop data pipelines, validation workflows, and automated reviews for data generation.
• Publish findings and provide instruments and benchmarks to inform product roadmap.
